So Nice!!!

Spring is here!!! It was 75 degrees today...so nice!! It felt so good walking to class and just being outside today. Too bad I had to work and was stuck inside all evening though...bummer!! But there are many nice days to come...I am so glad the weather is finally getting nice and I really hope it stays that way!! =) I love summer and am tired of winter and being all cooped up...time to get out and play!!
While I was at work, David got to enjoy the nice weather though. He went to the high school and ran on the track under the nice warm sun...lucky duck!!

Another Day in the Life of the Bennett's

Getting closer to the end of this semester...oh so exciting!!! I only have a week and a half left of classes and then finals. Pretty crazy!! I can't wait until that day...I am so sick of this semster, and I'm not even sure why. It has been a good semester and I have enjoyed my classes, so I cannot pinpoint exactly why I want it to be over. I guess I am just that much closer to being done, and that is a good feeling. To never have to worry about these five classes again. Sure there will be more, probably harder, classes...but these ones will be done and out of the way. That's a nice feeling. =)
David has been looking for another job to occupy his freetime and try to build up our savings account...we're not very good at that yet, but trying. He was thinking about going back to Gold's and doing personal training a few days a week, but not sure if it's the right choice. We need something that has good benefits (medical and such) so he's kinda been holding out for the right opportunity. Hopefully something comes along soon. If anyone has any good ideas, please let me know!! =)
Well, I need to get some homework done...I've been slacking in that department. Then end is so near, but I need to remember that it's not over...I still have finals to get through. Better study up!!

Salt Lake City

We live close to downtown, where I work at Applebee's in the Gateway Mall. David works at Robertson Aviation in Bluffdale. I am currently trying to finish my degree at the University of Utah, where David will be joining me in the fall. I will, hopefully, be graduating next May with my bachelors in Mathematics Teaching with a minor in Physics and David will be there for the long haul. He is starting out with the intentions of being an athletic trainer or football coach. We will see how long that lasts...he has already wanted to be an architect, then a Heath and PE teacher, so we will see. I know I changed my major like ten times!! But here I am, finally close to the end...it feels so good that there is light at the end of the tunnel. And pretty soon I will have a real job!! With this semester almost over, I have only three left. This summer will be a pretty easy one, with Fall and Spring being killers so that I can get done.
This summer will also be kinda hectic, taking time off from school and work to go back to North Dakota for Jenae(my little sister)'s high school graduation in May; and then another few days in Maryland for our anniversay. We have to go back to eat our cake that has been waiting in Aunt Ruth's freezer!! It will also be good to see David's family, who we haven't seen since our wedding...it's crazy that it will be a year already. Where does the time go??
Well, I'm off to do some cleaning and then I have a long night of homework catching up ahead of me, so here is the start of our blog and I will do my best to keep it updated!! =)

Recap of our Wedding in Maryland

We were married on June 21, 2008 in the Washington DC Temple in Kensington, Maryland. Lots of family and friends showed up and we had a really good time. After the wedding, we went to Antigua for a week for our honeymoon. It was AMAZING!! We layed out on the beach and by the pool almost every day - the weather was perfect, a little cloudy a couple days, but that just kept us from too much sun!! We both came back with deep dark sunkissed tans.
After the honeymoon we took a road trip back to North Dakota, stopping at Navoo, IL on the way. We made it just in time for the 4th of July derby in Hatton, then spent the evening at Golden Lake with the fam. After a couple days in Larimore we were on our way to Utah to start our lives together. We now live in Salt Lake City and this is where I am starting our blog.
